Eastern Upper Peninsula on Saturday July 12th from 10-3 for a fiber
event with a little bit of something for everyone!
Local
vendors will be selling hand-spun yarn, woven goods, hand woven baskets, knit
items, wool roving, exotic fiber, fiber animals, knitting, felting, spinning
and weaving supplies and other fiber related goods. Artisans and vendors will be on site offering free demonstrations
and learning events for adults and children.
Demonstrations and Learning
Events Include:
- Wet Felting a bar of Soap- Children’s project at 11:00 and 1:00
- Spinning on a wheel
- Bobbin Lace
- Weaving on a Triangle loom
- Weaving rugs on a 4 shaft loom
