First Annual Eweper Fiber Fair!

Please join us at The Three Lakes Academy (formerly Curtis Elementary School), on Main Street Curtis in the beautiful Eastern Upper Peninsula on Saturday July 9^th from 10-4 for a fiber event with a little bit of something for everyone! 

Local vendors will be selling handspun yarn, woven goods, knit items, wool roving, exotic fiber, fiber animals, and spinning and weaving supplies.  Artisans will be on site offering demonstrations and learning events for adults and children.

Demonstrations and Learning Events Include:

v     Knitting and Crocheting for Beginners
v     Kool-Aid Dyeing

v     Spinning from a rabbit

v      A wet felting project for children

v     Spinning with a hand spindle

v     Weaving on a Triangle loom,

v     Rag rug weaving

v     Locker hooking

v     Weaving on a table loom

v     Spinning on a wheel 

Lunch will be available at the fair by the Three Lakes Community Volunteers .  Lodging and meals are also available in the town of Curtis and surrounding area.  There is a playground on site to keep the kids entertained.
